Some years ago now, the Parochial Church Council (PCC) of St Peter’s Forsbrook undertook the “re-ordering” of the Church. At that time, a number of changes were made to the building to make it more up to date. The changes included replacing the pews with chairs, and creating a “Welcome Room” in the Entrance, together with a kitchen and toilet facilities.
Whilst more than adequate at the time, the PCC reserved money to allow for further building work should the need arise. That time has now arrived, and the PCC has therefore had plans drawn for an extension to the church. This extension will be located at the back of the church as it is viewed from the road. It will contain a new office area and additional toilets. The old toilet facilities will then be removed to allow extension to the kitchen for greatly improved catering facilities.
